We've all read a lot of articles today in which commiserations are
offered to the plucky Brits Tom Daley and Pete Waterfield (especially
after the
nutsoid school-bullying-twitterstorm cooked
up yesterday) - and sure, they could have done better. But let's try to
move on and focus on the important issues here: the Cuban and Mexican
divers are hotter than hell.
First up, beetle-browed Mexican dream-boat
Ivan Garcia Navarro
- a mere 7 months older than Daley, but an entire academic year fitter.
His nickname is, adorably, 'Pollo' ('chicken' in Espanol) and here he

And special mention obviously goes to his not-quite-as-adorable diving buddy/hot-tub interloper, the German Sanchez Sanchez (looking at Bronze for 'Best Name, London 2012')
Special mention also goes to the plucky Cubans - particularly
Jeinkler Aguirre, a relative OAP at 22 years old.
The only worry we have is that, with this and the gymnastics out the way, London 2012 has shot its load...
